Ioanna Kolovou

Originally from the Greek island of Corfu, she first earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Patras in Greece and subsequently obtained an MBA in Finance from the International Institute of Management in Cyprus. She is also a Chartered Accountant, certified by the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She began her professional career at the global consultancy firm KPMG, where she worked from 2009 to 2024. There, she worked on a large number of audit and advisory projects for major multinational companies, leading several of them and thereby gaining experience in how companies operate across numerous sectors, from financial institutions, real estate, betting firms and energy companies. She joined EMMA Capital Group in 2024, where she leads the consolidation function. In this role, she is responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements and ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards, as well as the preparation of reports required by regulators.
