A native of Prague, where he studied at Charles University’s Law Faculty. As part of his studies, he spent a semester abroad at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, as well as completing several international internships. Between 2011 and 2017 he worked at the Czech branch of the international law firm White & Case, where he focused primarily on competition law and regulation of gaming, healthcare and banking. He also carried out assignments at the company’s New York and London offices. Between 2016 and 2017, he was seconded to serve as General Counsel for the Czech Republic and Slovakia at Gilead Sciences, a leading global bio-pharmaceutical company. He is an attorney-at-law registered with the Czech Bar Association. He has been cooperating with EMMA Group since 2017 as its lead counsel focusing primarily on new acquisitions. In his role, he has been involved in EMMA Capital’s entry into the e-commerce logistics sector, the acquisition of Croatian and Greek marinas run by EMMA Capital under the name Marina 21, and a number of M&A transactions in the gaming sector. He became a partner of EMMA Capital in 2023.
