New EMMA bonds sold out in advance

The full emission of bonds issued by EMMA GAMMA FINANCE, a.s. were sold out in advance of today’s issuing date.

The bonds are intended to finance EMMA Capital's investment in the Croatian company SuperSport, which was acquired as part of the division of SAZKA Group among Karel Komárek’s KKCG Group and Jiří Šmejc’s EMMA Group.

Securities worth EUR 90 million, bearing 4.9% interest, were bought up in a single week and excess demand meant that some bidders had to be cut. The bonds have a term of five years, were issued through J&T Banka and will be listed on the Bratislava Stock Exchange. Prague's PPF Banka also participated in their offering.

EMMA Group previously issued bonds (bearing interest of 5.25%) in July 2017; the full EUR 120 million issue was successfully repaid in April this year.
